Holster Clip installation on leather -

You basically cut two (2) horizontal and parallel slits in the leather. Cut the slits so you have to force the clip into the slip - do not 'overcut' the mounting slits or the holster may reposition or shift locations slightly. Then a layer of leather is sewn onto the back and tightly around the clip which sandwiches the back of the clip between the two layers of leather, locking it into place securely. When it's done right, this tried and true installation method and wide holster clip with its 'coin dimple' makes this super clean and rock-solid solution that holds very well for decades.
